If it makes any profit at all then, relative to the Council's investment, I imagine it is a real money-spinner in comparison to the KC.
Why is this on here? It's the off-season, so even if it is off-topic we're not struggling for space. Many forum members will pay council tax in Hull and will be genuinely concerned about the council failing to secure any sort of meaningful
direct return from their investment. It really is quite poor.
As Rovers fans we've also been invited to provide an economic argument for public money for our proposed new North Stand and asked what benefit it offers Hull's hard-pressed council tax payers. Had we made those arguments this news would, if anything, have weakened them, but it may embolden us suggest that those among the beneficiaries of a scheme that yielded such meagre financial returns to the people of Hull are ill-placed to lecture us.
