Only caught the last 5 mins this morning but scraping a draw against the Maoris is hardly a great start and doesn't fill me with confidence.

England defence was poor in 2nd half and most of the players looked very tired.

First game so we may get better but I think that England are never an 80 minute side. Tony Smith can get teams to play for 80 mins but he failed to do this with England. I think he's the best coach England/GB have had in a while but perhaps there were other issues going off within the squad during the World Cup. I don't rate McNamara as a coach and I think there is every chance we'll finish bottom. England have some quality players but not enough.

McNamara shouldn't be anywhere near the England job, I think we'll finish 3rd in front of the frogs.
