I don't understand your point. For those wishing to pay in full and get the full discount, Club Rovers fans had until 18th Seotember, a deadline then extended to 3rd October. FC fans have until 31st December (extended last year to first week in January to take into account December month end pay). Those paying in instalments at FC have until the end of November to sign up and the first payment goes out mid December with a further 2 in January and February, so have an additional 2 months without paying anything. How is this the same?

its not the same, it is subtly different to your statement that we have to pay for our passes by October when in fact the full payment doesn't have to be paid until December.
What I don't understand is why you feel the need to try and undermine our season pass 'strategy' by comparing apples to pears and tryng to convince yourself that we are being ripped off.
As in most business its a case of supply and demand, we have areas that have high demand for limitted space. Your lot have the more space than demand. I'm pretty sure if Fc ould get away with accelerating season pass sales they would but the reality is if they reduced the window they'd just reduce the uptake.
As I stated earlier, using this site a snap shot of fan feeling, our fans are reasonably happy with the pass situation and pricing whereas a lot of your lot are not. Maybe you should have a spell on there and convince the disgruntled ones they are in fact watching entertaining RL, which is what its all about.

And does it really matter when passes are released? Hull's shirts go on sale in the next few weeks yet ours have still to be released. That means we'll have longer to save up than you

You're just not understanding the rules of this game are you?
Clearly, our shirts going on sale so near to Christmas will impact upon many families ability to pay for a slap up turkey dinner, leaving the bairns of East Hull to go hungry over the festive period.
We lose again I'm afraid.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I undertsand that in the interests of goodwill our Black and White neighbours will be using the cash windfall from having £200 in the bank for 3 months at between 0% and 0.5% interest to pay for a slap up meal for the unfortunate Rovers fans that have so callously had their Christmas dinner stolen from them by Ebenezer Hudgill.
barham red wrote:Suppose the way to look at it is, are Rovers fans generally happy with the value they get for the money they pay out, on the whole the answer is yes. Are FC fans happy with the value they get, not judging by a lot of the not buying another pass brigade on here.
Simply summarised. £485 to watch entertaining rugby or £455 to watch utter durge, its a no brainer..
Still I suppose you can sit there happily unentertained and applaud the profit.
You can suppose what you like BRed, but wait until you actually have our final pass holders at the KC to follow what you think is 'utter durge'. Makes me wonder what sort of 'durge' you red & whites play with the total of passholders at the caravan park -even allowing for all those who have already missed the deadline for the Club Rovers!.....good luck anyway chuck, ..grannyfan Cindy
100% Hull FC -part of thebrotherhood of Rugby League, The Best Game in the World to watch.

Don't spoil it for them grannyfan...fans moan every year on the board they will not renew, we finished near the bottom of the league for 2 seasons and still got record pass sales for both the seasons following...a couple of hundred fans on here do not represent the 1000s of faithful as we know, but some on here like to believe they do

You're expecting less this year (and I should imagine we are as well) due to the prevailing economic climate in Hull.

We will see, if there is a dip I would not expect it to be too significant, maybe less than a 700, I personally still expect 8300-9000 passes sold by FC.
