I haven't actually seen it myself, but his keenness to get here in the HDM interview would suggest it will have been completed as quickly as possible.

Mason Signed and will have submitted the paperwork for a visa well after Blake Green. Blakes took more then 40 days and I suspect Mason will aswell. I think we'll hear something in 3 weeks.

Blake Green was reported in the national press as signing for Rovers on the 5th August 2010. Rovers announced Willie on the 4th September with the deal going through that morning. Now if both players submitted their visas the day after they'd signed for Rovers then we have a month to wait.

Assuming there were no hitches with Green's application. Still, looks like both will be here well before pre season starts in mid November. Time for a pre Xmas "wrestle on the drink" with O'Meley.

I hope O'Meley helps Mason to settle in. There should be extra spice to the derbies next year which will make them even more special. Assuming Mason does arrive, I'm confident that Rovers will be stronger next year than this. Hopefully Hull will be too because I like the idea of other clubs coming to Hull (FC or Rovers) and thinking "Well. we're not going to get much here are we?"

I don't think we can be anything but stronger. We've not got rid of anybody from this years starting 17 yet we've added a decent standoff a world class forward and another back. The standoff allows Murrell to play at 13 and Watts packing down again although he was used as a 3rd prop forward more then a specialised looseman.
