And you are honestly convinced that the name of the club is what is keeping 'the missing millions' from attending......and all those potential big money investors??
Tell you what - you find someone with several million to sink into the club, and he can call it whatever he wants!!!

And does anyone else find it laughable that there are posters on here that support the motion to change the name, yet have the Centurions logo as their avatar???
I blame the education system!!
I'd have the Leigh badge as my avatar if we were called Leigh Bears again, doesn't mean I like the name or badge.

So, why not just have the town crest then?? Seems a bit stupid to have something you detest as your avatar!!
You might as well have a W*gan badge up there!!

Possibly - at least in terms of merchandise
I haven't bought a new shirt since the Leigh Cent-ur-i-ons era started, and won't be doing so until the club goes back to being called Leigh Rugby and makes it out of decent quality
I did buy the unofficial traditional long sleeved cotton shirt with only the towns crest on - Majestic

The branding for the Leigh Centurian is completely wrong anyway, the Roman soldier on the badge is a legionary. The centurian wears a completely different head dress, we cant even get that right.
