Sharp is no slouch but like Peter Fox he doesn't have genuine pace either. Real pace the likes of Offiah and Kevin Penny is very rarely seen
In Super League nowadays you wouldn't bet against most players taking an intercept and going on to score given that 5-10 metre start, well everyone except Richard Whiting who could have a 95 metre start on Andy Coley and still get hauled down 15 metres short of the line
HULL KINGSTON ROVERS is my religion, Craven Park is my church and Jordan Abdull is my God

A match where things really mattered this season, of couse was the GF. Wilkin came up well short in pace, creativity and, criminally against a ruthless Wigan machine, discipline. How disappointing.
It really mattered to the dullers who had to cross off yet another thing that Rovers wouldn't do...win a play off game.
Next please
Standing up to the forum bully.
It must be working, he doesn't like me...i'm devastated

Whiting doesn't need pace. He can play 50 minutes with a broken arm against your lot and still be on the winning team.

thats the only comeback they have anymore, make a profit, every other thing they mentioned so far we manage so hopefully we'll do that within a couple of years too!

TBF to Sharp, I don't think he's too bad a signing. We all know how much importance you place on the end of year club player awards, because you talked of nothing else in reference to the signing of Ratu, and Sharp did quite well in this respect, despite his snail-like pace.
I agree but he's not a too good singing either and will just add to the revolving door of mediocrity at FC.
Sharpe got skinned by Dobbo when Dobbo had the handy cap of having the ball in his hand so isn't isn't some speedster like some FC fans are making out...
