HTM said guys like Hillbilly Jim would get merchandise royalty cheques for $80,000 - imagine what Hogan was getting therefore?! (x the figure by four or five perhaps). Him and Flair must have made millions, and millions in the 80's and 90's, figures most guys can only dream of.
But a lot of wrestlers in the 80's were apparently donating a lot of their money to their good friend charlie

Happened in the 90's too - Road Dogg is one of the wrestlers who admits to blowing a huge part of his Attitude Era earnings on drugs. Shame cos he comes across as a really cool guy, the type who always takes time to sign autographs etc.
Read a story somewhere about Flair settling a bar bill for thousands at the Summerslam 92 (the one held at Wembley Stadium) after-party, will have to see if it's on the net.

Lots of high spots with bags of tacks & a barbed wire board. Basically Flair did that soft Flair fall of his through the pile of tacks & couldn't make 10.
Also look on reaction for the camera man for no reason at all keep bobbing down to blimp at Micky James' tits.

Christ, don't know if I want to see that match or not?!
Micky James, God WWE are dumba$$es for treating her the way they did and letting her go, she's awesome.

Must say that is one of the coolest PPV ads I have seen for a long time. Feel Mr Anderson deserves a great deal of credit for his work so far in TNA (more from what I've read then seen due to not having Sky ). Watched his RF shoot interview not long ago, he comes across as a decent guy who got over strongly in WWE, but then kinda screwed up. However, rather then moping or becoming a shell of his old self, he's clearly put in a lot of work on his skills to become apparantly a better all-round performer in TNA then he was in WWE (and has shaked the 'WWE Reject' tag which I imagine must be hard to do). Pope deserves credit for doing all the same too, if TNA could do this more with their signings they would grow much faster as a company.
Hey Lister, so what's the score with Jeff Hardy's ongoing case? I.e. I read a while ago that there was unfortunately a big chance of him doing time, but it seems to be dragging out a long while? Be a great shame if he does because he has a rapport from fans that few wrestlers have, and at his peak in WWE was probably the most-over babyface seen Austin or Rock.

Very mixed about this really - clearly Nash is years past his peak and appears to have difficulty wrestling now because of his mobility. On the other hand he's been a great character in wrestling, and was a huge part of the late 90's boom period. Yes he's been lazy in the ring at times (though of course he still denies that), and he had a part in WCW's downfall when he was given the pen, but his role in the nWo was something so strong that most wrestlers will never achieve (i.e. in changing the business), and as Diesel in WWF I thought he was a good big-man character (despite the knocks he gets).
Thanks for the memories Big Daddy Cool / Big Sexy, be nice to see a Hall of Fame induction for him and Hall at some point (been inducted by HHH and HBK would be cool as hell).

His court date keeps getting pushed back (I think about 5 times now, it might be more), but he's next due in court on October 25.

Ah right, cheers.
Had got the impression that Chris Jericho had left WWE, but from talking to my mate on Friday it sounds like he's just having a break? Hope so because he's a class act, be a big blow for them to lose him permanantly.
Will also be interesting to see what Matt Hardy does nextm not heard anything for a couple of weeks.
