a fans forum is only for gullible fools (regardless of which team they are for).

Was asked on Sunday. Rule's response was to the effect that the file was still in the drawer but there is no point in pursuing through the courts for no financial gain.

Cooke is skint, Hull wouldn't lower themselves to take him to court for a moral victory and a "We told you we were right" moment of glory. As a professional profit-making organisation, petty points scoring isn't on Hull's agenda - legal action would be for collection of financial compensation in lieu of a transfer fee. But you can't pluck grapes from the vine in Winter.

So it's on hold. For now.

General Zod. wrote:FC fans need to be asking James Rule why Paul Cooke left your club.

I recall Rule's interview in the HDM stating he noticed Cooke's contract wasn't signed the Wednesday before he left - let that be your starting point and work backwards from that.

The clock is ticking until the truth comes out Mr Rule... :SHHH:

general zod, more like general ignorance :ASS:

There is a time limit on any civil legal action and I can't see Cooke's financial situation changing in the near forseable future.

1. If your claim is based on Contract then you must bring your action against your opponent within 6 years of the date of the breach of contract. However for certain types of contract the period can be extended to 12 years (e.g. where the contract is in the form of a Deed).

Short of winning the Euromillions rollover on Friday, though, the chances of Cooke's wealth significantly increasing in the next 3 years you'd have to rate as, well, small.

If he came into ANY money he'd be daft to announce it for the next 3 years.
