Why you would even bother mentioning the wall is beyond me, that hits anyone it takes them with it plus the height and serve on it you can't stop them. Terrific strike.

Two broken legs he's inflicted this year.

During the World Cup final controversy he blamed the Premiership for turning him into this type of player.

What on Earth was the Liverpool free kick given for?
Those lucky lucky kopites. Three goals bang in front of them.

Getting another yellow card and fine in York, before heading to Manchester for my first night out there since leaving Uni.

I'm not surprised at all by yesterday's result, we just aren't good enough away from home ATM.

Lost for words about today. Getting seriously bored of watching useless cloggers like de Jong, Henry and Cattermole every week now, it's becoming a joke.

Get well soon Hatem. I doubt we'll see him in a Newcastle shirt again - broken fib and tib is likely to end his season.

Probably nothing like what you're thinking. He's goes to ground, does dive in but to suggest it was reckless is way out of line. In fact the only people I've seen claim that are two people on here, one of which is a Newcastle fan.

He dives in with his left leg fully extended. He barely makes any contact with the ball. Because he's dived in with his left leg it means that contact with Ben Arfa is inevitable. De Jong's right leg goes straight into Ben Arfa's left leg and breaks it.

It's exactly the type of challenge that has been outlawed. A challenge where a player may take the ball, but he knows he's taking the man as well. As it was contact with the ball was absolutely minimal. If he hadn't taken out Ben Arfa with the slide it would have been a useless tackle.

To say it's not reckless is moronic. That's two legs he's broken in 2010 and there's still three months of the year remaining. I really don't know how Citeh get away with it. They will be ****ed when refs start clamping down on their overly physical play.
