They both need a spell in the Reserves to get some confidence, because they've both been soft as $hit so far this season.
Rafael looked confident and much better than O'Shea, he shouldn't be dropped for tomorrow.
Park was very quiet going forward, but helped Evra out at the back. I thought Anderson and Fletcher played well, but Carrick lost the ball far too much. Still, at least we kept a clean sheet and finally got a win in Spain.
O'shea offers good cover but he's not someone you want playing in a position regular as for Evans he's making mistakes but i still feel he'll be a top quality Centre half in the future, we looked a different team with Rio and Vida at the back although Evra isn't filling me with confidence so far this season. Rafeal was the standout player for me with his workrate and ability and to play the last 30 mins with an injury just shows how tough he is (he could hardly walk when he came off)
I don't know whats happened to Park this season but he looks a liability, he's always been a workhorse but his work rate seems to have fallen this season i just hope he improves as he can be a cracking player when at his best. As you say Carrick was poor but that could be down to a lack of match fitness so i'll give him a few games before i pass judgement i just hope he doesn't play last season.
As i said to a bin dipping supporter at work when he tried to take the mickey about only winning 1-0 we had Scholes, Valencia, Giggs and Rooney missing and we still got a 1-0 at the Mestallia that'll do for me
My text at halftime "With this high defensive line Valencia are playing Fergie needs to get Hernandez on as he'll exploit them with his pace" i should have been a manager
