To be fair i was only referring to the grand finals when emotions are at their highest, Normal games i would not expect anything to change.

You can part understand the odd set too and maybe a scrap between fans when tensions are high... but an alleged assualt? Waiting for other fans to come out? It's just pathetic in all honesty!

Faxhali wrote:I completely agree with you there, The police are discracefull, Just like bouncers on a club, once out of the ground they dont care, there were loads of police in the ground but as soon as it finished and featherstone left the stands hardly any went out to check for skirmishes, Oposing Fans should enter by opposite gates and Coaches should be parked at opposite ends with a police presence ready for anything to happen, In my honest opinion, there was always going to be a bit of trouble when opposing fans go out on the lash all day as tempers are freight and passion is high, however, with a little planning from HJ stadium regarding coaches being away from each other and seperate gates, police presence etc most of this could be avoided. The RFL should spend money on the grandfinal security and logistics becuase they take all the cash from the gates don't they.

I think you will find that the HJ belongs to the RFL for the day, if this the same as the Challenge Cup Semi which we played at Widnes, I was told that it is the RFL which arranges parking.

It was witnessed by many people !!!!!!

and just where in that report does ANYONE say it was a fev fan.

Please lets keep this sensible and wait until any investigation is over. If it was then proved to be a Fev fan I would be the first to back any moves to prosecute.

Best wishes and a speedy recovery to Dave.

Firstly may i wish the supporter injured a full and speedy recovery from all rovers fans

now on to my point TYPICAL FEV FANS !!!!!!!
before throwing accusations , i think you need to wait until more is known about the incident ie FACTS. if it is found to be a rovers fan then and only then can you make judgement and i would say they deserve everything the get as punishment . I dont want to get dragged into a 'our fans are better than yours' debate but to say typical fev fans when some of your own are no shrinking violets ie the goading in the coach park wanting us to get off the coach for a scrap and a few incidents in pubs surrounding the ground . Im not saying there werent any who werent genuine fans but that was same for both teams, to me that sounds like youre tarring us all with the same brush .

Not all of you, but as i have put before, it is very clear to me that from the totalRL forums and others that have visited you on other occasions, it seems to be the same message !. i dont see the RL community deciding to come together to have a go at you for no reason, i beleive you have great fans who like most want to go and support your team and that is admirable. However, there is a overwhelming concensus that some are mindless thugs out for trouble. maybe it is for the club to look at this and start making bans, your name seems already tarnished to me.

Just for the record.....Last year we lost to Barrow in the final and I(and the dozen or so I was with)had a great day out even though we lost..........This year we won and all of us had a crap day out from start to finish, the only good thing being the result and the game, eveything else was crap.....for me only one difference there....who we were playing!!!!!!!

Once again to reiterate not come on your site to tarnish genuine Fev fans, but this SCUM needs weeding out of our great game,do the descent thing and contact the police with any information about the COWARDS who carried out this attack.

That is not the right way to go about it is it

For the record there are 2 locked threads on our main forum urging people to help if they have any information

At the time of writing this our main website has also been taken down and replaced by a message urging people once again urging people to help if they know anything

Both threads and messages all have relevent contact details

Thanks

Police are now studying CCTV footage of the attack so only a matter of time, I hope, before the thugs involved are brought to justice........ We don't want this type of action spoiling our game :(
