While I admired their efforts, I was sceptical about about how much could be achieved. 10,000 signatures and good media coverage has proved me wrong - remember this was an independent fans group with, I assume, a budget that didn't extend much beyond paper and pens. Door knocking on east Hull's 50,000 (at a guess) households would be a massive undertaking.

Thing is, they don't have to wait for you to come to the door - and they get paid!

Well gee...thanks for the positive words ...there were 2 of us one pensioner and myself!!! We did what we could and we were constantly asking for help and barring a couple of very helpful people, we did it on our own!!
But thanks to everyone else with your kind words and support, I only hope we achieve what we set out to do,at least we can say we tried if nothing comes of it.

Im not saying what you have done as not gone unnoticed; i signed it myself so you obviously got to some - all im getting at is that is was passed about around the East Stand and some people were taking the Michael, id like to see how many of that 10k has been signed by Mickey Mouse and the likes.
Would of been nice to see more people get involved, yes i know plenty of us have other things and issues but im sure more fans could of helped; surely Prescott could of done something to help or at least give abit of advice on the best ways to go about it.
Like i say, dont get me wrong i think youve done a cracking job. But it would be nice just to see how many you could get signed if you had the right help and backing, reckon you'd be looking at double what you got easy.
