That would explain it.

I fancy another trip to the Punjab. Anybody else? Few beers in the FC beforehand?

My body is a temple at the moment. But a curry is allowable.

It's a favourite of my missus, a bit on the flashy side, drinks are expensive but the food is top notch. Dont go with more than 4 'cos they struggle to cope with larger groups.
Red chilli a bit higher up towards Thornbury is worth a try tho'

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

From a visit on Friday I can confirm that the Chapple kebabs are at their fiery peak at the moment. In fact a mixed bag of starters and mains for five of us saw not a single complaint, and under fifty quid the lot. (Though nobody had a "large" portion, which at around a tenner may be stretching things a bit). The Karahi Fish and the Lamb Aachar seemed to get top marks from the assembled multitudes, as did a Peshwari Naan, and you couldn't fault the Tandoori Rotis.

Had an absolutely superb Desi Fish Karahi takeaway from Shipley's Shimla Spice on Saturday. The best curry I've had in ages.

Mr Khans, formerly a restaurant on the upper part of Morley Street (by Pickwicks and Abbey), is now a takeaway in Stanningley. I think I've forgotten what quality is but it's the only one I've used more than once while living in Leeds.

Kiplings, which I think are in Greengates or similar, has taken over the curry house on Ilkley station. The one that food poisoned a few people a couple of Christmases ago. A load of us went for my birthday a few weeks ago, high praise all round.
