My dad gave me a boot once when I was a nipper.
I'd been expressly told not to play his rare jazz records that he'd got whilst working in New Orleans, he came in one day and I was playing them. In panic, I turned the record player off at the wall, at which point it stopped with a horrible grinding noise.
My dad had a face like thunder. I took this as my cue to scarper. As I made my escape up stairs my dad gave me a boot up the Iestyn that almost sent me right to the top of the stairs.
Stayed up there for quite a while before I plucked up the courage to come back down.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I like people who maintain their standards. Good work.

Au contraire my silly middle aged Clown. There's plenty going on in my goosey brain, unfortunately for you it's all way above your level.
