It's a toughy. 'Double Agent' is a clear reference to the jokey thread title. The 'ousting' is when we paid up his contract, freeing to seek employment and additional monies elsewhere. A bit like when Hull lost a half and 'ousted' Domic - except that was probably different in some subtle but important way. The stopping of loyalty is where it gets tricky - is that reinforcing the 'ousting' point, that HKR lacked loyalty? or indicating that Webster does or should feel none as a result?
