While I hope they catch the toerag who threw the lighter and ban him for life, surely it Wigan who should be facing a 'rap' from the RFL, after all FC were told that they were blameless after their fans invaded OUR pitch and Rovers were responsiblr for crowd trouble at THEIR ground even if it was away fans.

Once again, double standards from the RFL.
ERM. We take thousands away to ALL away matches no matter what day what time or what the state of the said teams stadium is like. We took over 3000 to Wigan last night for an 8pm kick off knowing that at 10:00pm parts of the M62 was shut and the likelyhood would be getting back into hull after 01:00am. Your supporters couldn't even number 1000 going from West Hull to East Hull. The excuses used range from "I'm not giving them Drovers my hard earned cash, I won't stand in the South stand, Theres always trouble so i refuse to go and haven't being for years, We're going to get beat, ect ect ect" You sing in any kind of weather. This song you sing is bullshit and IMO you need to stop singing it because you certainly don't believe in the lyrics.
So yes we are the most loyal fans and alot more loyal then Hull fans by a very very long way.
Theres been a good 3-4 televised games this year were rovers have taken less then a thousand fans (believe it or not), only a few hundred in some cases (Wire, Hudds). So I wouldnt get too excited, your support at Wigan on friday was superb but it hasnt been like that throughout the whole season.
Whereas we've averaged the 3rd highest average attendance at home this season, and I dont recall one away match where we havent taken a four figure following, so I certainly wouldnt question our fans' loyalty this year.

It's just a shame that the 99% of decent Hull and Rovers fans get tarred with the same brush.
its not only the fact these idiots think they will get away with it, but they risk the reputation of their club, why should the club have to pay a fine for this idiot, find him, fine him i say

your support is not in question, to keep getting the crowds you have after the seasons youve had recently says alot for you Hull fans IMHO, but to see so few fans stay back at the end of the Rovers game was shocking tbh, yeah Hull got beat, but they had a great season compared to the last couple, and yet only a handfull of the crowd showed their support. I honestly dont think that would have happened at Craven Park.

Not this year, but even Eddie and Stevo commented on the 200 or so (so could have been less) Hull fans that travelled to Salford for last seasons televised match. Old Faithful?

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.
