The best team won on the night, no doubts about it. Tough in defence and created opportunities in attack.
I thought we was our worst enimies at times, some silly penalties and bad defence. But overall the effort was there, I thought Mick Vella was outstanding and led really well from the front.
I was a little dissapointed with Silverwood, I just wished we was allowed the time in the tackle as like Wigan recieved from him, as soon as there player hit the deck the tackle was called and we heard mooooooooooooooooove lol even a half a second to a second makes a big difference.
I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell

We were well beaten by a much better side, Silverwood was poor though, he went to the video for ALL of our tries, yet saw fit to award a try to Wigan when the player had is back to him, had three Rovers players on top of him, had the post between him and the 'mound' of players completely hiding the ball and was 3 metres from the action. How the hell did he get a clear enough sighting to 'definately' know it was a try, even from the video replays it wasnt 100% clear that he grounded it before the tackle was complete.
This was what the video ref was introduced for.

Best team in S.L. this season, hopefully they will go and win the Grand Final. SamTompkins, his petulance and behind the back gestures to the crowd aside, was immense and my MOTM.
Standing up to the forum bully.
It must be working, he doesn't like me...i'm devastated
We were beaten by a better side last night, simple as. I'm still proud of the lads for the amount of effort & pride they put into their shirts last night, they never stopped trying. Did I stay and clap my team at the very end, to show them how proud I was? Of course I did.

I was rooting for you guys last night. I thought your outside backs were your weakness in defence and let the rest of the team down. You probably got away with it last week because Hull FC had to play a hooker and a loose forward/stand off in the centre positions. I think you have a really strong pack but I think the team would benefit by bringing a specialist coach in to work with the backs. Fox showed his usual threat on attack!
First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.

TBH Mrs G you are beginning to sound like a bitter twisted old hag on a revenge mission

Talking about oneself in the third person is also rather revealing in my not at all humble opinion.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Agreed. No other choice though. I bet geese have to use something like a 3rd person referencing system when keeping their migratory formation shape by honking instructions to each other though, so don't be too condemning.
