Is not the real reason for you not going tonight the fact that you blew all your cash on preston road chardonney(Frosty Jack).Oh well, I suppose last week was your cup final.

The only positive is a win against a team missing all its backs bar Briscoe that lost its FB after 3 minutes, one that finished 12th last season at that. Oh dear.
So transparent.
The problem you have now is that your words only serve to give us another peek into your fragile personality nothing more. The content has become irrelevant, it is so predictable, there is no substance it's like the ramblings of the KC stadium chav corner.
You are better than that get a grip.
My take on tonight was that it was 1st v 7th, with 1st having home advantage. Last week I knew we had a chance because anybody with eyes in their head knew Hull were no better than us and it was up for grabs. If that wasn't true I wouldn't say it but it IS true. You know it too.
I reckon that a fledgling Super League team like Rovers can be very proud to have come so far so soon. Actually everyone in the world thinks this apart from you. But that didn't mean we are suddenly the best team in Super League, we were never going to beat Wigan tonight. The top 4 are a class apart although I still think Huddersfield are the one team who might upset the applecart.
I believe that next season Rovers will improve and Hull will get worse. That is my honest opinion. But only 5 teams progressed beyond Rovers this season and those 5 have expansive attacking games that set them apart. Rovers don't have that, Mason & Green will help but the top 4 /5 do everything much quicker so I still think we will only be the best of the rest.
Hull? I think it is going to be very painful for you as the realisation sets in that you have got it wrong and will have to start again. No club has ever been given so many handouts and produced so little it really is tragic. Was it really worth it to kill an expansion club like Gateshead and pump millions into the mediocrity that is Hull FC.?
Especially now that you have been eclipsed by Rovers 3 years running it becomes ever harder to see the point of you.

Oh dear. Seeing that you feel the need to bring FC into it (let the record show this is a response, not me bringing FC up for the sake of it Let's compare:
League position regular season: FC 6th (↑6 places) KR 7th (↓ 3 places) League position after play-offs: FC 7th (↑ 5 places) KR 6th (↔) Challenge Cup: both out in 4th round U20s: FC 5th KR 9th Attendances: FC 13,731 ↑3.7% KR: 8,234 ↓3.6% Financial Performance: FC Profit £77,000, KR Loss £450,000
Try and couch Rovers performance in terms like "fledgling" if you like, but the harsh reality is that by the time they'd been in SL as long as you, Catalans had been in a Challenge Cup final and lost only 27-20 to Leeds in a GF eliminator. Look at them now.
Still, good to see you confirming Rovers in 7th and resorting to Gateshead comments. Is that all you've got?

Mrs|B when you had been in Super League as long as us and in fact longer you ventured into the play offs and got beat 71-0.
Maybe you didn't support Football Club/Sharks or whatever you called yourselves back then. Maybe you are of a Hull FC generation that didn't urinate from the top of the threepenny stand on to young children, didn't pull down the posts at Huddersfield and disgrace our city on national TV.
Maybe you are no part of all that.
But years later here you are and you are so proud of Hull FC you have a picture of a Wigan player as your avatar. It's not too late to change clubs |Mrs B if the guilt is too much.
With all the time you spend on the Rovers forum it won't make all that much difference anyway. I'd forgive you I suppose, if you ask nice.

Yep 71-0 was a darkest hour for me.(Wonder if Bradford named a bar after it?) Next darkest 6-42. But I will continue being a Hull / thundersharks / dull / blah blah supporter.

Interesting that other fans thought Silver shorts had a poor game, I'd convinced my self that it was as to do with much our indiscipline.
Take nothing away from Wigan, the better team won, Riddell murdered us in the first half and Wigan's speed at the play the ball set the tone.
Fair play Gleeson's (I think) try at the end was a belter.

Good for you sir I respect you for that.
My own darkest hour was 51-0 at Whitehaven. We thought we might get promoted that year, 51-0 told us maybe we wouldn't.
Whitehaven looked like world beaters that day, no kidding. They really did. Long long journey home.

Yeah, remember those days?!?
I saw a little Wigan lad point to The pmh Posse and say to his dad, "They're rubbish", one of my friends replied, "You should have seen us five years ago!".
TGG

Apart from a Challenge Cup win from two finals, one Grand Final, third best supported team in the league (again), grade A franchise, £1m merchandise sales (again), one of only two clubs in profit (compared to, say, a £400K loss)...

Looks like Mrs B hit a nerve again
The funny thing is that when we lost a major final in 2008, GML mocked "At least they got there. That makes their season a success apparently" " Surely that would be like claiming a win against a team that finished 12th last year in the context of a lower league position and reducing attendances as success.
