It's only a problem because we beat you!! A nice problem I'd say.

Mrs Barista wrote:Seriously, the deadline was originally Saturday. WIth 3 days to go, how many people were not getting a season pass for £179 because they needed a ticket for Wigan (£13)? My head's spinning.
Not simply the £13 for a ticket though is it. It's The wigan ticket, Transport cost money for amenities and possible expenditure after the Wigan game. Your alledgedly an accountant and also visit away games the tickets usuallythe cheap part of the cost. I haven't got my season pass yet, Nor has Reeney, My Brother and Sister in law nor has my dad. Would you like to have a guuess why

Further to my last post I applaud the clubs decision. I and my family will ALWAYS have being buying a season pass. We'd have simply bought them later due to our run in the playoffs. The clubs decison has saved myself a few £££ that I was fully expecting to lose. A thankyou to my club will be wrote in the morning.

When i got my club rovers last season i was guaranteed my 2011 season pass at the frozen price of 2008, nothing in that booklet i got saying this would be subject to getting it before a deadline, also in the booklet no mention as to an admin charge, very poorly put together in my opinion ( the information leaflet ) and im still a tad peeved.

Mrs Barista wrote:Capacity is nothing to do with it - Rovers have 2,600 fewer passes to process than FC, so if it's an admin bottleneck that's the limiting fact surely FC should go earlier than Rovers. FC's passes usually go on sale 1st October with a 3 month discount period that ends 6 weeks before the season starts at the end of December/beginning of January, last season allowing December month end pay to clear before the deadline. Rovers window opens 2nd August and ends 3 months before FC's. Why do you think this is?
The answer is obvious, your teams support (and I use this term lightly) is currently going through its end of season cycle of no one renewing passes because of numerous reasons that range from Agar, bad recruitment to the boards money grabbing and not caring for the 'fans' but are generally down to a season of boring unentertaining rugby and a premature end to the season.
If your club put a deadline on passes now they simply wouldn't sell in the numbers they need to, most would just decide to pay on the day or not go.
What now happens is the spin machine will go into overdrive, Berrigan is off quota so they will tout some big names at you, I'm expecting cronk, prince and any number of half backs to be mentioned (all must have a silly nickname tho for media spin). This will then generate a season of performance (promise was last year). and the sheep will amass in a month or two when the pain has diminished and the signing of another prop will seem like a good idea cos Long / Horne can't be that unlucky again.
Lets be honest if you lot put passes on sale at the end of your season most of you wont have been on your summer holidays and they can be very expensive.

TBH i think Cronk, Prince, Thurston and probably every other high profile player in the NRL has been touted on their board in the last few months as have the big English names like Fielden and LMS.
Never mind, at least Sharp has been snapped up despite major interest from top S.L. and NRL clubs.
Standing up to the forum bully.

I suppose Hull will be raking in even more season pass holders for next year when they announce they're big name signings..... there is a long way to go its sooooooooooooooo hard still been in the play offs but magical at the same time to think bout any thing but getting to the Grand Final, am pretty confident the KR faithful are gonna continue to support the great name of Rovers next year,I mean come on who is not gonna want to see Blake Green and Willie Mason week in week out........
