Wigan are gone mentally, as GML predicted they've imploded at the business end of the season. They've got a day less to recover after a gruelling battle vs the champions. You have another international in to bolster the ranks this week. Formality may be stretching it a bit, but Wigan is an easier gig than Warrington (who have a longer turnaround) in terms of form for sure, so it couldn't have worked out any better for Rovers.
Agree completely. At the start of the match, I wanted to face Warrington, but then Wigan blew it, and had a fierce encounter when Leeds came back. They should be tired, and Deacon may be out for Friday too. Also, J Tomkins may get a ban for kicking McGuire. And they only 4 days to recover.
If we play smart, force a few GLDOs, and play with intensity for the first 10 minutes, tire Wigan out, I could see us being in the final 4...

Webster isn't currently an international and hasn't being whilst he's being at Rovers. Also how long has Webbo being out he'll be shattered after 30 mins. I'd stick with the side that beat Hull and give Webster a full pre season with him being fully fit. We'll face a very fired up Wigan side and to say they have gone mentally is horse poop. They where beaten in a very evenly match contest and will be back all guns blazing next week.

Not really. Wigan had 4 out tonight, plus Deacon injured in the game and Joel Tomkins facing a ban for kicking. So half guns blazing.

How can you say Tomkins faces a ban when he's yet to be charged with ANY offence I'll await the RFL's findings 1st.

I didn't say he'd got a ban, I said he's facing a ban. The Sky team (apart from Clarky) were saying it was inconsistent that Radford got a red card the previous week for a similar offence, so it's not unreasonable to assume that the Dream Team backrower faces a ban at this stage.
