Can you imagine what these boards would be like if Tom Briscoe had accused Ben Cockayne of biting him!! If it gets proved that he did it, which is very difficult, then he deserves a lengthy ban.

Berrigan normally wears a gumshield - you can see him take it out after he scored in the last derby. Was he wearing one last night? Not sure how you get a full set of teethmarks wearing one, but still. Just find it so out of character for him. Agree he should get a long ban if he's done it though.
Bit shocked about the allegation, Berro has never being a dirty player as such...however if true he should face a long suspension, not bothered about handbags but not down with biting!!

About 30 seconds before the ref put it on report you can see Berrigans face in Murrels forearm in a tackle, it could have been accidental as there was a Rovers player shoving Berrigan downwards by the head, but where was his shield.

The last one I saw looked a definate bite but I don't even think it got to head quarters.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

This is the way I see it too, as you say you can see Berrigans head on Murrels arm and another player pushing his (Berrigans) head down (which IMO would cause an imprint). Stright from the tackle Murrel doesn't make any kind of fuss so again IMO he can't have thought there was any mallice in the incident.
