I like your endless optimism, it's a good thing, I use it to offset my endless pessimism. And you are a skinny ar5e, there can be no complaint, everyone saw you missing kicks on the pitch at CP.

I'll give it a go, not likely to succeed, sorry about that. Settle down little fella.

General Zod. wrote:As for our no risk style of play - FC's tactic will be five drives and a diagonal kick to the corner. If any team is gonna go wider of the ruck earlier in the tackle count it will be us.

We do have a low risk strategy, personally I think it's a good thing, on the odd occasion that we start wanging the ball about in our own twenty it more than often goes Pete Tong. A high percentage of our tries come from kicks in the oppositions twenty, we have a dearth of creative players, Morgan has us playing to our current strengths.

FC do usually go to five drives and a kick, it's there plan A, B and C. We need to put them under enough constant pressure to ensure that they stick to that, I do not want to see Long feeling as if he's got enough room to start being creative.

General Zod. wrote:What I don't understand is why folk seem to think FC's pack is bigger and better than ours when Rovers is far taller and heavier man-for-man whilst being fitter.

I don't think they are bigger and better but they're certainly more mobile and more capable of getting a roll on. We absolutley need to dominate them early on, they ran over us last time. I want to see Fisher start, for me he's still our best defender around the ruck.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

He's got it, you can't possibly expect him to spell it. Probably Korsakoff's syndrome.

So we're still missing several internationals (Walker, Webster etc), that makes Hull massive, massive favourites IMO.

Is that how you do it Mrs B?

I'm best part of 12st @ 5ft 8 so I'm hardly skinny. Other than that fair points...

Sorry Roofs, a decent effort, but no cigar. We've done the 4 unavailable for FC v 2 for Rovers yesterday. Do keep up.

Actually its 3 a piece (and one of yours is by choice)

Does that make it too close to call or are Hull now favourites??

Unless I know the 3 it's impossible to say. Must be first choice 17 to count, remember. If it's 3 each, the law of averages rule is triggered, so Rovers are still favourites regardless. It's like you hardly know me at all.

No Hull are clear favourites. This season they've not only finally worked out how to consistently beat us, they've finished above us in the table without the use of their first choice halfbacks for most of the year. Add to that the home advantage and a near-fully-fit squad I'm surprised any Robin is going into this game with any optimism.

Christ we can't even buy that over priced p155 they call beer to numb the pain whilst we're there. All in all it's going to be a long hard day for Rovers tomorrow.

dont say Agar's gonna do a Morgan and pick Lauiki even though hes a doubt, have you been giving him lessons in mind games???

if we did unavailable from our original squad we'd have Webster, Walker, Ratu, I'anson, Cooke and Mills out, thats 6 to your confirmed 2 Mrs B.
