It's great and all, but reckon we've left it too late to win it ourselves. May well be about to be the major kingmakers in a maiden Somerset title win.

They are probably sitting pretty at the moment, but if Lancs beat them it's all on - they go to Durham next week which isn't a gimme.

5 lbw's against Lancashire today from 2 Yorkshire-born umpires, one of whom played half of his career for Somerset. That sounds fair to me

Yorks all out for 264, lead of 205 Notts currently 9-0 in reply after 5 overs.

Somerset are 100-3 against Lancs, could go either way from here.

Is it just my natural sense of Yorkshire pessimism, or can anyone else see Notts making 400 plus second time around and then it raining for two days?

Far too optimistic. They'll skittle us for under a 100.

That would be karma after rain saved you against them at your place wouldn't it?!

Shame you don't have them to play again then isn't it, otherwise they could return the favour for your ludicrous declaration handing them the title on a plate. :MOON:

Next week, Old Trafford mate.
And it wasn't ludicrous it was the only way they'd have gone for a result to make a game of it. If we'd have held our catches we may very well have won it and been in almost pole position. If I were you I'd rather they won it than us!! 8)

Notts finally out for 413, Yorkshire need 209 to win.
