Roy likes old average players, they're easy to coach and they suit his coaching style well, but he at least tries to delve into foreign markets.

At least Hodgson didn't sign Heskey. And make him the highest paid player at the club. Now that would be stupid.

I don't think Arsenal fans will be happy, but it's absolutely different. Vermaelen is trying to explain a situation and explain that, even though it will be impossible to 'put aside', things have moved on. The Barca scum were publicly persuading him, ridiculing Arsenal in the process.
