Mason has not got a police record not even a speeding ticket so really cant see what the problem with a visa would be, lets just welcome him and hope he does a good job for us, am sure o'meley will look after his best mate while over here, roll on 2011....

Amazing signing!
4yrs ago we were within touching distance of SL, 4yrs on we've secured one of the biggest signings in the SL era.
At first I was a bit unsure whether it would be a good signing or not but I now have to admit that I'm very excited by it now.
We have to still remember though that its still subject to a medical and visa paperwork being approved. I'm confident though that Rovers will not fall in to the same trap that others have.

I was wondering whether JM saw him primarily as a prop or back rower. Even if Wheeldon leaves, we still have Vella, Clinton, Watts, Lovegrove and Netherton (young Green too?) - enough to cover prop, but probably not enough for LF as well, if that is a tactic we want to continue with.

You speak as if there was a precedent at the time of the new application of rules which saw Eastwood, Carney, Bird and Crocker denied visas at the same time at 4 different clubs. Given that the new stricter visa rules are now fully understood, I don't see how you can claim some Rovers administrative excellence highground here. Bizarre.

I'm not claiming anything, I said I'm confident. Whether it's Rovers, Hull or another club you would think that after the failings last/this year they would want to know about any possible misdemeanours that might harm the signing.
When Mason is running out on to the pitch with a Rovers shirt on that is when I will truly believe he's our player.

Even when he runs on the pitch for us, Mrs B will still find some way to say his boots aren't rugby league standard, therefore shouldn't be allowed in the country.
Can you not celebrate that one of the biggest names in Rugby League will be playing in this city next year, instead of trying to dampen it all the time? Find you boring, repetitive and quite sad to be fair.
