Whatever happens it'll be a very long and painful five months for one set of supporters.
The next game is an independent event, recent results in either competitive or friendly fixtures ( ) shouldn't have any or much influence.
The pain will probably only last a week, fortunately/unfortunately - and winning is sweeter than losing is bitter, IMO.

If Rovers are to win they will have to play a hell of a lot better than they currently are. Morgan is a believer in momentum and the only momentum Rovers currently have is a losing one. Quite simply Rovers need to improve considerably on performances like last night just to be competative let alone win.
Motto of the week -
It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.

Well done GG, you're the second poster on here to mention that Rovers had a game last night, albeit the first one was a Crusaders fan. I'd always thought Rovers' philosophy was that the season was about the here and now, but apparently that's only when it suits.
Beating Hull KR 4 times in one year eh? Bring it on!
Seriously, this is a real 50/50 game and the stakes couldn't be higher. Its going to be a long long week. May the best team win and lets hope for a lack of idiots.

As MrPhilb correctly pointed out before the last derby, a draining game vs Leeds puts you at a massive disadvantage which proves telling. Our disadvantage is magnified by the 12 v 13 impact and we'll be without Radders as well. May I be the first to congratulate you all on your first play-off win.
Thanks Mrs B.

It was a dead rubber for Rovers last night though, important that we came through unscathed which I think we managed, maybe Ben Cockayne is a doubt injury wise and we may have a couple down to the beaks.
GG is right though, Rovers look lacklustre at the minute and we all know confidence and form cannot just be switched on like a tap.
However, we will end your season.
I hope you are saving these up Mrs B

You're welcome. Of course if this were the proper play-offs in the previous format, riff-raff in 7th and below wouldn't even have qualified, but still.

Cockayne was a liability in the last derby, so wouldn't be a miss. I don't need to save them up, you're just saying the same thing. Light years ahead of us, put us to the sword, end our season. Got it.

Very valuable player though is Charlie, as shown by his awards success on Thursday. The fact he annoys the hell out of the Faithful is an added bonus.
