Wandering away from the thread a little but he looked screwed when he went off and looked poor anyway before he got re-injured. Never looked fluid in his play and made me think he was back too early.

Sadly, yes. If Lomax had managed to avoid injury then he and Scott Moore would have done a passable job as halfback partners just as Scotty did ok with Kyle. I was impressed by Jonny Lomax today and thought he should have been MoM. When he actually manages to play, he is a real talent. As is Jamie Foster, who inspite of being built like a spindle seems to take whatever is thrown at him and bounces back up again.

Don't get me wrong, lomax looks a class act but he is not a patch on leon pryce at this moment in time!

If pryce is fit we will be there at old trafford IMO but if he's out I can't see it.

He's our major threat in attack and also does huge amount of work in defence.

I agree with all of this. We have sorely missed Leon. He is our organiser, our primary threat in attack and clearly he covers the middle in defence because we are consistently weak there without him. While Lomax is showing great potential, he is light years away from Leon at present. I don't believe for one minute Leon will play again this season because of the nature of his injury and I think we will struggle to get any further in the playoffs without him.

I think we both called this one about two and a half weeks ago, our info was correct then.

My source has got the first thing wrong that he's ever told me in confidence yesterday, he told me sia was playing which was correct but also told me maurie was due to play.
