Players that have come in will have massive point to prove though.

Starspangledbanner @ 13/8 for the big race tomorrow

Tomorrow

Haydock 3.05

Moon Indigo 25/1 E/W

Ex O'Brien horse has won twice at this distance, has had two races for new yard which were harder then this goes off 92 but has run 105 so goes off pretty low weight.

Paul Wood and Carvell to score anytime in the rugby later both @ 4/1 and Rhys to get a hat-trick on debut @ 9/1

Considering their last race together, RVW looks too short at 4/6 with Twice Over 4/1.

Looking at the field though...

Rip was nursed along when he started to fade in the Queen Anne so that can be discounted, next race against Canford Cliffs he improved but again looked as if he needed the run, last time he showed he still has more improvement to come and managed to get his nose in front.

Twice Over has had three hard races already this year. Cecil and Queally say he is working as well as ever but surely this race will be too soon for him, as all of his races this year have been good battles. IF he can run a fourth massive race in succession he won't be far away.

Famous Name has been an excellent servent for the Weld stable and is a high class performer but I think he would appreciate a bit more cut in the ground to launch a challenge. The heavens have started to open though so...

Cape Blanco has shown himself up as a very good horse this year, but think his stablemate (RVW) stands a better chance.

Sea Lord and Beethoven both reliable horses but don't think up to winning a group one.

Dancing David @ 16/1 E/W in the first at Haydock

Best efforts have come at the mile and some first time headgear might help get the best out of it, dropped in class and distance didn't quite get 1m2f at chester in a Group 3 and just faded then tried in the Group 1 Prix Du Jockey Club over 1m3f coming 7 lengths behind Lope De Vega and recently ran poorly over 1m4f in Group 2 Great Voltigeur Stakes
