Hope you're not too desperate to get him now you've missed out on primary targets of Lima, Finch and even Radford. Still, David Williams, eh? SCORE!
Since when was Radford ever a primary target?

Morgan has openly said he's after 4 or 5 new players. Your very own GML has said on here how keen Morgan was to get his man, honestly, keep up son. Still, more free cash to shower on "The Mercenary" and David Williams. Good times.

Finch i'll give you as Justin openly stated he'd spoken to him and was interested in bringing him in, the others are just a figment of your imagination really
Hows the recruitment going?
Now all your major targets are turning you down?
Shenton, LMS, Fielden mind you at least you got that bloke off funhouse's younger brother signed on

"The others", what you mean Lima? http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.u ... ticle.html Coached by former Melbourne assistant Michael Maguire, they are believed to have won the race for Finch and another Robins target, prop Jeff Lima.
Rovers have also been linked with Finch's Storm team-mate Jeff Lima for several months now.
It could pave the way for coach Justin Morgan to sign Melbourne Storm pair Brett Finch and Jeff Lima - two players he has recently openly admitted his admiration of.
I knew I didn't imagine it.
The only other one I mentioned I think was Radford. Are you seriously saying Morgan didn't want him? Direct quotes for you: "If Lee was to become available, I'd like to talk to him, of course I would. He is an experienced senior English player and I think that he would be a huge asset to our team."

Correct, you missed out Pryce, Westerman, and every other OOC player in the NRL and SL. Our poor recruitment can only mean we lag even further behind you as you predicted so accurately:

Hmm, to be fair though you're only looking at it from one angle.

We are light years ahead of you, you made short term signings in the likes of Fitzgibbon and Long to close that gap although it will only be for a short time as Rovers squad along with Huddersfield will come into their own with these new cycle of players after our much reported season of consolidation and within the next 2-3 seasons both will deliver silverware. And yes you can quote me

Could you list the measures you are using? Thanks. Just when you claimed this last time you were using the league table, which was fair enough. I know you can't be talking crowds, business model, stadium quality, current season derby wins, license grade or, er, league table. Maybe number of awards won by the retail department? A fair cop if so.

I've quoted other press on here, including the Daily Telegraph, and my links have been rubbished. I quote the HDM and that too is rubbished. I am challenged to back up my comments with links, yet when I do so, they are rubbished. It's so unfair.
As said before, the good thing about missing out on targets like Radders is it frees up the extra cash needed from the multi-club-agent bunfight over The Mercenary that's been ratcheted up over the last few months. Everyone wins.

We are talking about on the pitch, this Rovers side squad which has been moulded into a side that will challenge for honours while teams such as yourself are just happy to exist all be it fair play to the board because at least they decided that beating Rovers and finishing above them was Number 1 priority this year after two seasons of playing second fiddle.
Rovers don't need a massive turnover of players as we are nearly their, obviously the problem of not having a proper 6 will be addressed but other than that it is a squad that has been formed to play together for quite a few years to come yet.
The halfs will both be 24
Pack leaders like Clinton and Newton and hopefully Mason approaching 30 and the supposed prime of a forwards career
topped up with a plethora of English talent that has been the backbone of the club for a good 3-4 years with the likes of Briscoe, Fox, Welham, Murrell, Cockayne, Netherton, Colbon.
I'd like to see a top number 9 at the club but who would be the question. Hopefully Hodgson can step upto the plate
A 17 which consisted of
Briscoe Fox Welham Webster Colbon Green Dobson Clinton Hodgson Vella Newton Galea Murrell
Mason Watts Lovegrove Cockayne
Looks pretty good to me, we'd hopefully have more depth than in recent seasons as well when the inevitable injurys occur with the likes of
Fisher Ratu Cook Netherton Taylor Sherrife Bell possibly Hall??
More than happy with that squad formation but we aren't at the formation yet
