He would not have been a first choice in our side even if he HAD signed, he would be behind Clinton, Vella, Lovegrove, Watts in the front row and a million miles behind Galea, Newton in the back row. The press and forums seem to link anyone who is out of contract with FC to us, Radford is a reasonably good player, who is now at the back end of his career and would not have improved us one iota, we would be better off keeping Wheeldon IMO.
With the signing of Colbon, I doubt whether Hall will be chased either, he will not get in our side unless we have injuries, Fox, Colbon, Webster, Welham, Cockayne are all better for the team, Hall has pace, but offers little in the way of all round SL player, if he did why are FC getting shut at such a young age.
Morgans interview on RH yesterday clearly stated he was interested in talking to both Radford and Hall and the reasons he gave were pretty clear.
Radford would give experience in the middle of the park when Vella and Clinton are not around - feels Lovegrove has had a bit too much responsibility this year doing this and believes that young English backs are like gold dust so Craig Hall would fit the bill perfectly.
As GML states it looks like one of Hull's prop targets has fallen through (dont know how cos they were all nailed on FACT
![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
) hence the importance of re signing Radders.
