A delection to turn this thread into another slanging match what with the second part of the post I quoted being a pretty obvious attempt and all!

I don't understand what you mean. Read back my posts on here re Radford. Been very good for us this year in a stronger pack, 2 years is probably a year too long. Your very good friend Bertie then chose to bring Sam Moa into it and claim Rovers deliberately feigned interest in Radford to screw FC over in Radford's contract negotiations with the club. What do you think his motivation was in doing so? Arguably it was to turn this thread into a slanging match and a more obvious attempt than mine. Goodness people are touchy tonight, we need more pmh - he's good Company, although disappointingly not on here 24/7 like me, which can lead to delays in our hilarious banter.

Does this mean you do admit that it was an attempt at it then?

Trolltastic. But the fact that even as an unfit geriatric he was more effective than the MOS elect in the last derby seems to be a point no one wants to address and is entirely relevant to the thread, being about both Radford and Rovers. How do you account for that?

Am I missing something here, how have we LOST him, he never played for us, he played for FC. I have it on very good authority he touted himself at Rovers who politely declined. He would not have been a first choice in our side even if he HAD signed, he would be behind Clinton, Vella, Lovegrove, Watts in the front row and a million miles behind Galea, Newton in the back row. The press and forums seem to link anyone who is out of contract with FC to us, Radford is a reasonably good player, who is now at the back end of his career and would not have improved us one iota, we would be better off keeping Wheeldon IMO.
With the signing of Colbon, I doubt whether Hall will be chased either, he will not get in our side unless we have injuries, Fox, Colbon, Webster, Welham, Cockayne are all better for the team, Hall has pace, but offers little in the way of all round SL player, if he did why are FC getting shut at such a young age.

Mate your good authority was wrong. Rovers very much wanted to sign Radford and it was only an 11th hour U Turn due to Hull matching Rovers offer that stopped him being a Robin. To me that indicates that Hull have missed out on a target that they had in mind for 2011 and retained him instead at terms more suited to the player then club. Rovers would be nuts not to take a chance on Craig Hall with his try ratio so i think your wrong there too. Morgan wanted Radford but the fans didnt so i guess how he performs for Hull will show whos judgement was the best.
