Yes i would, Brown is up there in the stats for assists etc, he creates a lot and he would allow tomkins to concentrate on his own game at full back which could result in him scoring try's. For me widdop should be not even come near the England squad, what he has played one game in the NRL now come on that is utter rubbish, he has hardley any experiance and it would be a huge mistake to put him in such a important position. Just because he plays in Australia it does not make him international class.

I have thought about it for a second and I have come to the conclusion that suggesting Leon Pryce can play 9, 11, 12 or 13 to international standard is ridiculous. There is already significant disagreement to whether he can play in the backline to international standard

Widdop is currently playing standoff for Melbourne reserve grade, so wouldn't automatically pick him as England fullback. Tomkins seems to be doing well in the NRL style attacking fullback role, so maybe it would be good to see him there for England, although I still think him and Eastmond are the medium to long term future for England in the halves. I think Myler is overrated, Burrow is a one trick pony, and as already pointed out McGuire's excellent supporting play hides his limitations.
It's a shame Pryce never pushed himself as a centre, as I think he could have been great in that position, with his size, pace and step, as a standoff he's probably the best England have at present, but I just don't think that's his most natural position.

Why is it ridiculous. I am not saying he would actually play in any of those positions but he can cover almost every position as back up for injuries, how many other players can do that.
