You keep looking back on the last 3 years as I cant see much success for you in the next 3 years!!
For a club thats spent as much on players as you have in the last 10 years and has no challenge cup to show for this since 1999 then sorry but 3 super league titles or not your still one competition short and everyone knows until you win the challenge cup the golden ere is not complete ha!!
To be fair I don't look back over the last 3 years. I look back over the last 6. We have won 4 out of the last 6 Grand Finals. I'm happy with that. If this is the end of the road for this team then so be it. They have done remarkably well in the salary cap era. We haven't won the CC in this period but to be honest I'd rather be the Champion team of the country than a cup winner, check my past posts I always put league championships above cup glory.
As for writing us off this season that's your own prerogative. This Leeds team has defeated all our majors rivals at some point this season despite, apparently, being past it. Will we win the GF? I don't know and I'd be lying if I said yesterdays wooping hasn't affected my confidence but Warrington were truly superb and nobody could have lived with them yesterday. Still at 8-0 we had a couple of calls that went against us that could have led to a completely different game. Had we had one of them go our way I think the game would have been a lot closer. Warrington thoroughly deserved their victory but have they peaked too early?
