He isn't that bad of a player. I've defended him on here before, he is a huge lad with underrated ability, but he isn't the type of forward Liverpool need. Like most strikers, he has to get into a groove to be good, otherwise he's useless, and the only way he can do that is by playing. As good as he can be, he won't get 10 games in a row here, he'll be lucky to string together three starts in a row, even with Torres out, which I think will massively dent his confidence.
I dunno, we need somebody who's a bit more consistent, somebody who's got it in them to play for the big clubs, I don't think Carlton has it, to be honest.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Perch is a disaster waiting to happen. Every time he has a challenge to make or a dangerous run at him, his brain falls out of his *rse and ends up clattering them more often than not. Wolves should've have a penalty yesterday as he was nowhere near the ball when he sent one of their lot tumbling.
Can't wait til Simpson is fit again, or a new RB would be even better, with Simpson as back up and Perch purely as an odd-job squad filler.
I'll pretend you never said that.
Aside from fouling Jarvis in the area, Perch played well again yesterday and seems to be settling down after the baptism of fire at Old Trafford.

I'll pretend you never said that as well.
It wasn't hard to play well in a confident team against Villa.
At Old Trafford and Molineux he has displayed that he will give away lots of stupid, brainless fouls and possible penalties on a less fortunate day. Still, he's only back up and we'll have Simpson fit soon.
