Kinnel what a nightmare the kits where. I was sat near the try line so when play was at the other side you could barely tell. All the old boys next to me kept moaning about it all game and to be fair i agree. RL is made to look amateurish.

Thought Silverwood was given a pretty hard task to judge the plays with the colour clash. The Atkins try for instance came from an off side position involving Mathers, the colour clash didn,t help this paticular game play.
The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you. Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.
I can't see why we didn't wear the red and green kit, its striking, bold, and would have made for a historic photoshot if we'd won the cup in that kit. I think it's much better than our home one.

It's partly Leeds fault, in which at the start of the season they concieved of an away kit that clashed with the ONLY team that their home kit clashed with.
But yeah, common sense should have prevailed, and yes, Wire's Green/Red kit is very iconic - fit for such an occasion.
"oh why did he kick that ball? that's why it's a try!"

I think there needs to be more stringent rules in place. Leeds home kit of Blue and Yellow, and away kit of Yellow and Blue. Hull's home kit of Black and white, and away kit of White and very dark grey being two examples.
also a few years ago there was a spell when most SL sides had a black away kit (as they sell well) again making it hard to avoid kit clashes.

The rule should be that all clubs away strips use completely different colours to the home strip, or be predominately white or black
