I know there's probably a touch of bitterness there but it irritated the hell out of me how much it centered on saint helens when we won it last year and are there again. We got a snippett of Moz at th end and thats it and as far as i remember, leed's contribution was being scored against. Great.

The Challenge Cup itself is actually sat on the BBC news desk right now. Nearly fell over in shock as the camera panned out to get the presenters in shot with the cup. Can't remember that happening before.
[quote='Fishsta"']I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.

Another classic:
[quote='Fishsta']You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.
Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.
Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666
0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.
but the buildup had been on the Red Button from 1.20. They said it would be bit late starting on BBC proper cos the motor racing had been delayed. If you include the Red Button coverage the CC Final was on from 1.20 till 5.05.
