I backed the third too in the race Amazing Style I think it was called, couldnt see the head on from the race as was only in the family ring, but it looked a suspect ride, seemed to be cantering when they went past our vision shot but was always put into trouble from there on in. Dont know if anyone can tell me any otherwise from the tv pics ?
You're spot on - he looked to be cruising a furlong out and lets just say that Farley on this occassion appeared to be less of a help and more of a hinderance, definitely unlucky today and should have finished closer or won the race with a better ride.
Glenridding was given an interesting ride too - last start at the track (a winning one) he was ridden vigorously from a wide draw to grab the lead, he stuck out there and ground it out from the front. Today the jockey had him midfield and he then dropped out and eventually finished last.
Looked a good days racing all in all though and a friend of mine from work is involved in You'relikemefrank who was 2nd in the sprint handicap so great to see him run well too
