imo would be a good signing on a 1 year deal then see how he goes, but 3 years when he will be 31 when he gets here? will cert put bums on seats, and short term could be very very good, long term not so sure,

Putting it simply it boils down to this.
Pro's Massive kudos for any club that signs him If he gets his head right a massive capture/ meter maker/ forward for any SL club. A possible big draw for extra pass sales.
Con's Can be problems in the dressing room. If his head is wrong a possible liability.
Looking at it from that point of view I find it hard to come down on any one side of the arguement.
He could be massive he could be a royal pain its 50/50 either way.
All I will say is that even been talked about in these terms thinking back just 5 years give me butterflies TBH.

They also ask that you do a Sunday shift (usually morning or afternoon) every 3 months, but this is flexible i.e. you can pick a Sunday & time that suits. Been there nearly 2 years now, it's challenging at times but is definitely the most rewarding work have ever done.
So pretty flexible then (apologies to other posters for going off topic) I've been thinking of getting involved for a while now, might explore a bit further.
BTW, I know you've been looking for Social Work things for a bit (iirc) if you fancy moving away from Hull I know that Leeds is crying out for Social Workers in Children's.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I'm certain. No different to many superstitions practiced in sport, e.g. Liverpool players touching the 'This is Anfield' sign before running out, Paul Ince waiting till the tunnel before putting his shirt on, etc. Absolute nothing to do with wanting to get the biggest crowd reaction in the warm-up.

Yeah definitely, they could help as much as possible (e.g. if something crops up and you need to swop shifts). Drop me a PM if you need any further info/help, I think they'll be taking on the next batch pretty soon (usually around Sept/Oct time).
Oh right, thanks mate. Was planning to saty in Hull ideally but will have a nosey on Leeds City Council's website, cheers.

On the proposed Mason signing it amuses me how much the knowalls above are aware of his contract offers, his monetary figures, his length of contract etc (even if they disagree among themselves and raise his offers trying to outdo the other knowall etc ) when, unless they are party to the negotiating teams they know exactly naff all.
It's 50/50 split if Fielden and / or Thackery are signing for them but nearly 100% know the Mason saga
Standing up to the forum bully.
It must be working, he doesn't like me...i'm devastated

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

It is likely a typographical error. The title of the thread is 'Re: MASON THE BEST FORWARD ON THE PLANET!!', so I think it is safe to assume that it was intended to be 'Mason'. HTH.
