Do you base your extras quote on facts, inside knowledge, alternative media scources or just your usual bullsh!t.

Try reading the rest of the post. If you believe Mason would come here for a flat £110k a year, when Orford is reportedly on more than twice as much, then I'm happy for you.

I very much doubt all the Rovers players you list are on excess of 110K. Take Webster as an example. It was widely reported he signed for 100K p.a in 2007. I doubt, given his stock has gone down since then, that he got a pay rise to re-sign. More likely to have taken a cut.
Mason is on peanuts at the Cowboys (alledgedly!). All this guff is him and his agent trying to get them to up his contract for 2011. I doubt this story has any credence outside the mind of the HDM Rovers correspondent.

Pommy Journo's, you gotta love 'em!
Fair enough. The thing is with the HDM is they describe every senior player at both clubs as on a flat £100k, and I doubt somehow that's the case. I still think Mason will come to England and probably to Rovers, and will be a very good signing.
