What a good idea the after match shirt auction was. Does anyone know how much the club made? I reckon they must have taken at least £2000.

They had not totaled it all up when Carl spoke to me, but between £2000 and £2500 was the figure that they thought that the auction had done.

Hopefully the club will let the very generous supporters know the final figure that was raised.

Well done to all involved    and i know more than anyone Amanda Parkhouse is a very happy bunny.

Did the money go to the Kevin Parkhouse Foundation?

The official site says a cheque for £250 was presented to the Parkhouse Trust.

Amanda Parkhouse purchased the old retro shirt at the auction that was her dads shirt number.

It was a great idea, maybe the club (if viable) could do it again next year for the 60s

Would it be 60p? That's a 20% ticket increase! grumble grumble

Maybe it would be better to do it at the first home game of the season the problem with doing it at the last home game of the season is that any newcomers at the game interested in coming to support the Dons will have to wait 5 or 6 months before they can watch the Dons again it would be a far better promotion & marketing exercise to do it at the start of the new season.

Amanda got a bit tearful when the No8 shirt came out, so it had to be ours!! Thing is though, we got it home and our 2 year old kicked and screamed until I put it in her drawer. So Amanda has lost the shirt and Baby Parky wins again!!

There was a £250 cheque presented to the Kev Parkhouse Fund, it was from funds raised at the Home Game against Gateshead.

Thanks to the Dons for that, it was much appreciated.

John Parkhouse.
