Just read that Widnes have released Mark Smith, Lee Doran, Yates and Strong. And with James Ford Apparently on the outter, would we sign any of them for 2011????

I'd sign Ford straight away, I'm pretty sure he wants to come back here. Im not going to laugh at Barrow's misfortune given their help for this club when we reformed

Agree with Smith, i dont like his antics against us but he would be an excellent addition to the squad. However i feel that clubs with deeper pockets will prevent us from that particular signature. Theyve let Thackeray go, id have him for his experience and leadership straight away.

If Hendo stays i cant see Cooky staying, unfortunate but thats the game.

With regards to Barrow, i will always appreciate the support they have given us and they have the best fans in our division. However i have been saying for ages that it would all blow up eventually, maybe this is the start of it, i really hope it isnt, but if it is, they will sink like the titanic. Jamie Rooney would be a brilliant signing, but i doubt we could get close to what Barrow are (or arent) paying him.
