they were overun in the second half against a team 2 leagues below them, it certainly didnt look a 2 league gap thuogh which is a big positive for my team Halifax.
i know you cant really read much into freindlies, i am happy with what were doing.
Cheers mate, maybe we were saving ourselves second half.

Thought that before Saturday, perhaps not so much now.
All Summer really fancied Ilkeston but financial problems will probably mean mid tabe mediocrity or worse if there is any injury crisis.
Despite losing on Saturday I think Worcester are the dark horses now they are back in the North section and can see them pushing for at least a play off place.

Yeah I don't think Hyde's price will shorten up now! We played Telford a couple of weeks back and they are a good side though.

100/1 if you want it but they must have showed a bit of fight to get back in the game v Workington.
Alfreton winning 5-1 away was a show of intent and the bookies were probably right in making them pre-season favourites but it looks very competitive with the likes of Stalybridge seeming to step things up from last year, Workington likely to be pushing if they can avoid another fixture pile up and clubs with big support (Boston, Nuneaton and Teford) and big money (Gainsborough and Corby) in the mix and Droylsden are always up there pitching.
Could be a very good season and even more so if Ilkeston can sort out their money worries and Eastwood remember the season has actually started.

Keep an eye out on Stalyvegas, good start to the season so far with some shrewd signings and don't forget they're a full-time team now.

Your not wrong and at that level full time could make all the difference.

Your old friend Marshy has made a good start there. He just didn't do it at FC for whatever reason.
