well done on turning around last year with very little new blood this year.

Was hoping we would have won yesterday when we went in front but Wigan are the best team in the comp and deserve the minor premiers title.

WEST COAST PIRATES
NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......

i predicted something like this at the start of the season

little surprise maguire has achieved this result

even scarier is the imports for next year kill the current lot

wigan will be dominating for at least 5 years

its good seeing a former powerhouse back at the top as imo wigan are probably the strongest SL club

stop it. I don't like agreeing with you
Ian Lenegan is the real reason for the rise and rise in Wigan RL. He understands every area of business, how to market it and how to turn a profit. Can't fault the man for leaving us to by his home town team, but it does make you think what might have been at Twickenham if he hadn't

dally messenger wrote:was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

I wouldn't go that far.

Wigan deserve to finish top and have been the most consistant side this season, but it means nothing unless they can keep it up till the end

Although there are a lot of people waiting with giddy excitement for my comments, I will reserve judgement until the season is at a stage that actually has some meaning.

congratulations from me too, fully deserved as they have been consistent all season and played some good stuff, also like us last year they have come in for some stick over their "techniques" much to the angst of supporters of other clubs who aren't as good at it

I wouldn't do Wigan the disservice of comparing their delightful flair and defensive steel to the bullying tactics and cheating displayed by the Giants in recent years.
