any news on any new signings or new contracts heard mellars has been looked at by 3 super league teams with cas looking like fravioutes, whats peoples thoughts on next seasons line up. id like to see a few more welsh players introduced into the team and id also like to see a few welsh scorpioans players given full time deals.
they wont sell mellars the rumour about him and hauraki isnt right they will stay and i think they should break the splash out on willie mason because he is a good forward who wants to come to super league and has lots of experience.

its not about them selling them im sure there out of contract, hope they do stay though both good players. willie mason is the sort of player the crusaders need to get the publicity and bums on seats

The team will be a lot weaker than this year and will almost definitely finish bottom. I will be amazed if the license is renewed

on the Youngquest front, as a Cas fan and not really seeing much of NY, whats he like as a player? Looked good VS the saints with the few times he touched the ball

He's very quick and strong in his running despite not being very big, he's almost like a spear in the way he runs into defenders and makes decent metres and when he gets in the clear he's difficult to stop. Prone to regular brain explosions which have cost the team matches this year, although this seems to have decreased as the season has gone on and he's been solid enough recently.

Sounds like McGoldrick but better. Not sure how strong the rumour is (different sources say different things) but if so sounds like the player we need, someone with blistering speed and capable of finsihing a try. Cheers mate
He is very good at running flat out into a brick wall, if you like that sort of thing. He has plenty of speed, but not much guile. If he has space he can be OK, but he isn't very good at finding the space for himself. He needs a playmaker to do that job for him.
