Aye...the last time he played I was embarrassed for him, he was just passing the ball randomly...That pass near the opposition line to Tansy (I think it was)

Oh I watched one game of your lot and he was utterly dreadful, and I do not like the way he carries the ball loosely, asking for trouble.
He'd only be a back up player for us too, but I reckon Morgan could get more out of him and develop his game further, in my opinion of course.
I know what you mean though, he can be dodgey, but if he keeps that form then why not?

Rovers fans are a little bit cocky IMO in claiming that as soon as Morgan signs a player it's a given that the kid will develop at a rate of knots and is guaranteed to maximise his potential, like Morgan has some sort of Midas touch. I'm not denying that Watts in particular, and also Welham are good young players that Morgan has helped to develop. But for every Watts there are players like Ratu, Spaven, Esders, I'Anson, Menzies,Kirk Netherton etc. Of course all clubs have hits and misses, but is Morgan's hit/miss ratio so much better than anyone else's? People on here are quick to dismiss Agar as an utter incompetent in player development and blame him and his regime solely for Hall's inability to secure a regular spot, but Briscoe, Lyne, and Houghton for 3 are players who've emerged as SL players under his supervision in the last 2 years and don't look too shabby IMO. I wish Hall well wherever he goes, but just think it's a bit arrogant to claim Morgan only has to wave a magic wand over Hall and his defensive frailties and decision-making will be instantly rectified.

From a personal point of view I don't feel any arrogance towards Rovers, the phrase King of Kings just seems to work.
"The Mail understands..." NOTHING!
