In 1966 both Wigan and St. Helens wore re-designed kits. Wigan wore red with a white V. Saints wore White with a red V and the rest, they say, is history.

Another kit clash, seems Offiah has Hanley's shirt on.

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

It's a bit amateurish to have a colour clash in such a big match - probably the biggest audience the game will get all year. Just hope the match isn't decided in the last 5 minutes by a tired player passing to the wrong team. Not looking like it'll be that close at the moment, but you never know.

By the end of the game Wire shirts were blood red & black with green grass stains, Leeds were just yellow.

Warringtons shirts were predominantly blue and Leeds shirts were presominantly yellow. I didn't think that it was that much of a clash.
