Been given Richard Hannon's Measuring Time (2.35 Sandown) this morning. It's from a guy I only see about once a month but the last two he had from his source were both winners. Unfortunately, they were both in the last couple of weeks so I didn't get them.

Not a very promising bunch on show and therefore an easy and tempting race to ready one for a plunge. Despite the race he won at Stratford (including making a number of mistakes) being a very poor one, Strumble Head was always likely to be put up as favourite but is eminently beatable. I look forward to this race with interest.
Has shown some smark form and also some poor ones, was behind a few of these at Ascot but didn't seem to be given a hard time by Hughes and was eased then went for a Group 3 beaten by a length and a half was travelling well when they all kicked for home but found no room while others kicked on finally got a gap and made rapid head way but far too late.

Would be dangerous to judge any Alan Jones trained runner on what they've done on the track (Norisan, Hiddensee, Humbel Ben, Secret Dancer etc.)

I'm not ... it would be no surprise to see a smart trainer ready one for this poor affair.

Done; Birmingham v Blackburn West Brom v Sunderland West Ham v Bolton Stoke v Spurs
Also done a correct score lucky 15, all 1-1's.
We'll see.
Can see goals galore at the Hawthorns, WBA will want to play well for their home fans first game of the season, which could leave them open to Sunderland nicking a goal or two.
