No.

So what it has to do with this thread I don't know.

It certainly does not make me or anyone better than the next. As stated I am curious, I may have put him in the wrong locker.

I am a managing director of a small engineering design company and have links with rugby league management. In my opinion the policy, procedures and decision making within the RFL is atrocious and from my viewpoint is a major concern.

My proposal is for Mr Wood and Mr Lewis to sell Rugby League to the marketplace.............perhaps they could appear on Dragons Den.

Are you trying to say you judge people on the type of job they do now? Will your opinion of him change if he tells you a certain job that suits your fancy?

I just don't see how this is relevant to anything other than you attempting to boost your ego. It's showing a lack of character from where I'm sitting.

Again, what does your line of work have to do with anything?

Unless you're actually involved in sports management at a fairly high level, anything said on this forum is said without a great deal of inside information. You've already shown earlier you have none by suggesting getting rid of the Magic Weekend and replacing it with nothing (hence plunging clubs ever further into debt).

Oh, and still the question I asked earlier hasn't been answered. You would think that it would be easy to reel off a list of answers since Lewis and Wood are apparently that bad.

So come on then, who are all these better administrators in the past? Who has taken RL more forward than Lewis and Wood?

I'll throw in another one: who could replace them?

Bill Fallowfield who got the game national exposure on both channels at the time against all the odds.

The fact that the clubs blew the opportunity, as they seem to have a knack of doing, shows how little things have changed over the years

You are unable to climb the ladder because you don't meet the requirements to be in SuperLeague, you are a feeder team and not a very good one.

I was speaking to Maurice, but if you want to gatecrash with your blinkered minority viewpoints, then join in, but lets not have all this dogma stuff.

In answering some of your question in part, with respect to Richard Lewis. This fellow was in charge of of the british lawn tennis association but was heavily criticised in his policy of bias towards the top end of players only and neglecting players at grass root level (so to speak). When the policy failed the LTA was left in turmoil and dropped down to the 3rd tier of the Davis Cup. Luckily the sport is now on the upturn, no thanks to Ricky.
I can see his same policies being applied here, looking after superleague while everyhing else withers, its a big risk because if superleague fails (sky), then we will not recover, as there is no basic structure beneath it.......................then we will have to look at the Bill Fallowfield archives, perhaps.

For Nigel Wood, i will let some of the older Halifax fans answer this one.

We've got more development officers and a better spread of the amateur game than ever before.

Oh, you're one of those that feels "everything" only refers to the Championship leagues.
