The KC is owned by the council, they would have a riot on their hands plus have to find 30million quid to rebuild the Boulevard if they tried to kick FC out. If anything it is City that would have most to lose from this ruling as it would effectively mean they couldn;t be promoted without finding a new stadium to play in.
WEST COAST PIRATES NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......

Trinity have sold BV and are due to receive the balance upon their departure from the ground. Next season is their last regardless of what happens at the planning meeting due in September. They will not own the new stadium but will be anchor tenants. The Wakefield & District Community Trust will own the stadium.

Wigan own a ground. Wigan council wouldn't help Whelan with the cost of a new stadium for Latics, but when Whelan bought Wigan RL, they then helped with the cost, around 50%, as it would be used for both sports. What the terms of the contract state, i don't know, but for Whelan to buy Wigans lease out would then give Wigan a healthy sum to start looking elsewhere. It would be unfair for Latics to be kicked out of the PL because they share with an RL club.

Catalan Dragons ground is council owned, the new stand is funded by the council and the new build at the other end are municipal swimming baths, according to the landlord at the sauce bar, the mayor of Perpignan is a staunch supporter of the kick and clap brigade and had the swimming baths built so that the dragons could never have a better ground than his team. Maybe a dragons fan would know more.

Oh god, please let this be true. It would be hilarious if Wigan got kicked out of the football club owned stadium and had to play at Orrell (which wouldnt be superleague standard)
The smile on Whelans face will be unreal and the best payback to an upstart of a club, who had treated the man who saved them from extinction by basically spitting in his face and telling him to eff off.
Ryan Bailey's fight record.
