They're from Lancashire, though.

However it was obvious from the replay that the Leigh player ran into the back of him and Menzie wasn't even looking that way. That wouldn't have been obvious at full speed.

Obstruction by Menzie? He was flattened off the ball by their player.

Maybe "Basil" (as in Millward not Expo) had a bet on? Assuming that he does gamble of course. Not sure he did when he was at Saints but who knows...........

I did shout that........

Anyways great try and celebration by Misi but refs could take a dim view of things like that, didnt a Warrington player celebrate by going down one stand tunnel and coming out of another only to get the riot act read to him by the whistleblower?

Hardly deliberately though! I think he was more intent on trying to catch Misi and just collided. If the ref had thought it was obvious he'd have called it. With the TV cameras and the Refs Supremo there, they have to check anything that even remotely looks suspicious.

Scrum half - Nathan Wood, I think.

Don't know if the ref spoke to him or not.

BBC - Blonde Brian Carney as in Timbo had a bit of a rough time because it looked like Leigh were targeting him a bit but the lad never stops trying.

Tim's still learning at this level and doing well IMO, probably our most improved player over the season.

Yes, Nathan Wood it was. Ref basically said "i know your excited but you cant go doing that".

Tim come on, it was blatently deliberate, his hands went straight into the back of Menzie's head, I was up appealing for the penalty before I realised Misi was going to sprint through and score!
